These Terms of Service establish the rules and conditions under which Laika IT Service provides its technical, development, and administrative solutions. By using our services or accessing our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of our services.

Service Scope

Laika IT Service provides a range of technical and IT solutions, including server setup and maintenance, software development, infrastructure consulting, and ongoing technical support. The exact nature and limitations of each engagement are described in the project proposal or service agreement shared with the client. Any work performed outside the initially agreed scope may require separate approval or additional fees.

Client Obligations

Clients are expected to provide accurate information, timely communication, and the access credentials necessary to enable service delivery. When required, clients must supply server access, hosting details, and other technical resources in a secure manner. Laika IT Service is not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incomplete information, inaccessible systems, or incorrect credentials.

Payment Terms

All fees for services will be communicated before work begins. Depending on the type of service, payment may be due upfront, upon delivery, or according to a recurring billing schedule. Invoices must be paid within the stated deadline. Failure to pay may result in delayed delivery, suspension of service, or termination of the engagement. Payments already made are not refundable unless otherwise noted in a written agreement.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted service. However, downtime may occur for scheduled maintenance, urgent updates, or reasons outside our control, such as third-party hosting interruptions or infrastructure failures. While we make every effort to resolve issues promptly, we cannot guarantee constant availability or instant response times.

Data Protection and Confidentiality

All information shared with Laika IT Service is treated as confidential. Any credentials, business data, or project details you provide will be used only for the purpose of delivering the contracted service. We do not share client information with external parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the service. Clients are responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices, accounts, and passwords.

Intellectual Property

Work specifically created for a client becomes their property once all invoices are fully paid. This includes custom code, configurations, and deliverables. However, internal tools, reusable components, and proprietary methods that Laika IT Service employs remain our intellectual property. Unless restricted by a confidentiality agreement, we may reference non-sensitive aspects of completed projects for portfolio or marketing purposes.

Use of Third-Party Services

Certain solutions may depend on third-party providers such as hosting companies, cloud platforms, or licensed software. Clients agree to follow the terms of those providers. Laika IT Service is not responsible for failures, pricing changes, outages, or vulnerabilities originating from third-party systems.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Laika IT Service is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss, revenue loss, or system downtime caused by external factors. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the client has paid for the specific service in question. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups and disaster recovery measures unless backup services are included in the engagement.

Termination

Either party may end the service relationship by providing written notice. Laika IT Service may also terminate immediately if a client violates these terms, engages in unlawful activities, or fails to meet payment obligations. When services are terminated, any outstanding fees must be cleared, and all access provided by Laika IT Service must be revoked for security reasons.

Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service occasionally to reflect changes in our offerings or legal requirements. The latest version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
